EVELYN AUTREY GRUBBS
May 29, 1924 ~ Aug. 25, 2018
Evelyn Autrey Grubbs, age 94, long-time resident of Mobile, AL, passed away Saturday, August 25, 2018.
She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-five years, John V. Grubbs, Jr.
Evelyn and John were charter members of Kingswood United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her children, Charles E. Grubbs and John V. Grubbs III (Irene); granddaughters Tyler Katherine Drouet (Clifford) and Hartley Elise Nichols (Andrew); 5 great grandchildren Mally, Kennan, Trice, Cora, and Ford; sister Ruth Megginson; beloved and devoted niece Peggy Mann (Ron) who was like a daughter to Evelyn; sister-in-law Stella Jean Hopkins; and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. at Mobile Memorial Gardens.
Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
