Gladys Littles

Ms. Gladys Marie Littles was born to Helen Mae Portis Jackson and Johnson Littles on February 12, 1955. Ms. Littles gained her wings on December 17, 2025 at her home in the presence of her beloved sons.

Ms. Littles took pride in her many accomplishments in life and had a passion for working with children. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from The University of Mobile in May 2004 and obtained a Masters of Education in 2011. Prior to that, she adored her work in the transportation system first as a bus driver in MCPSS alongside working part-time at Augusta Evans. She then furthered her love for the system by becoming the transportation director for the Boys and Girls Club. In addition to this, she taught for two years at Mae Eanes Middle School.

Ms. Littles is preceded in death by her mother, Helen Mae Portis Jackson, father Johnson Littles, sister Stella L. Littles, and Uncle Alfred Williams. She is survived by her three sons, Antonio U. Littles, Tyrus V. Littles, and Fred H. Littles; grandsons, Jaylyn M. Davis Littles, Jacolby C. Littles, and Ayden H. Littles; aunts Patricia and Sharon Joiner; God daughter, Yvette D. Battles; and her siblings, Donald Moore, Johnson Littles Sr. Andrietta , Paquita, Jauran , Andrew, Donald, Ronald, Requel ,Romone Jackson's ; loving nieces and nephews; special friends, Joyce and Chuck Maye, Donna Cunningham ,Dorothy Curtis, Arleen Phillips, Natalie Peoples,Jaqueline Mitchell, and a host of other family and friends.

There was not a room she could not light up or a soul she could not touch. She was known as the pillar of her family and a light in the face of darkness.
