Gregory Eljah McLaney, age 63, passed away in Mobile, AL on July 21, 2026. He was born the youngest of 8 children to Folsome and Allie McLaney on February 6, 1963. Known fondly as "Coffee Cup" to those closest to him, for never being caught without one in his hands. He enjoyed the simple things in life such as watching Nascar, driving trucks and a hot cup of coffee. He will be missed deeply by those blessed to have known him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and 5 siblings.

Left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Thomas (Phyllis) McLaney, and Joey (Debbie) McLaney, a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

A graveside service will be held at Magnolia Spring Baptist Church Cemetery on Monday, July 27, 2026, at 10:00 AM.
