Hans Schneider

SCHNEIDER, HANS Age 90, of Mobile, Alabama, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday morning, November 26, 2014. He was born on February 19, 1924 in Ehingen am Donau, Germany. He is survived by his wife, Mary Johnnie sons, George Gray, and John, and his wife, Amy, of Montgomery, Alabama daughter, Ann Cox and her husband, Greg, of Falls Church, Virginia. He was proud of his six grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and a friend to all who knew him. Born in Germany, his family immigrated to the United States when he was five years old. After serving in the Navy during World War II, he settled in Mobile, AL in 1946 where he raised his family. He was married to the love of his life for 68 years. He was a member of Cottage Hill Baptist Church since 1954 and worked for Barnett Millworks until he retired in 1985. He will be missed by all who knew him. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 29, 2014, at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
