Iva Bond

Iva Levelle Squires Bond age 100. Passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, January 31, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents Roddy and Mittie Mae Squires, granddaughter Susan Bond Bowers and her husband Robert Derwin Bond. Iva and her husband were married for 75 years before his passing in 2016, he was also 100 years old. She is survived by her two daughters, Sandra Gay Bond (Richard) Bowers, Brenda Sue Bond (Graham) Golden; three grandchildren, Richard Elton Bowers, Jr., Megan Brooke Golden, Holland Brett Golden (Duncan) Pray; two great grandchildren, Harper Everly Pray and Hudson Joseph Pray. She was a longtime member of Pleasant Valley United Methodist, the St. Mark's United Methodist Church. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at 12 noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11am until service time. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. The family would like to give a special thank you to Iva's caregivers who were like family members.
