Jacob M. Davenport, Jr. a longtime resident of Mobile was a retired Army Veteran and a member of Howard Lodge # 69 F&AM and the Abba Temple Shrine. He is survived by his wife, Barbara White Davenport; three children, Marie (Roger) Crowe, Jeanette (Mark) Morgan and Karen (Guy) Foster; two stepsons, Glen (Sheila) White and Edward (Leslie) White; six grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren; four great grandchildren and 5 step-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 2 pm. Visitation will start at 12 noon. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Flowers or a memorial contribution of your choice are both welcome. Condolences may be offered at www.mobilememorialfunerals.com.
