James dedicated many years of his life to hard work.He proudly served his country in the United States Army National Guard. He later began his career as a mechanic with Scott Paper Company and later worked for Kimberly-Clark, for 31 years.

James will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his love for his family, his devotion to his faith, and the many lives he touched along the way.

He was preceded in death by his parents, J.Y. Gresham and Helen Gresham; his grandson, Jay Daigle; and his brothers, John and Stephen Gresham.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Mary Burns Gresham; his daughters, Darlene (Keven) Williamson and Sue Ellen (Ken) Henderson; his stepdaughters, Karen (Sammy) Kelley, Sharron Pennington, and Julie McCluer; along with a host of grandchildren, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.
