James Patrick "Pat" McKay, Sr. a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL died July 22, 2017. Pat was a 1956 graduate of McGill Institute and graduated from Spring Hill College. He was an avid sportsman and is greatly missed by his family and friends. Having had a rare neurological disease, he donated his body to science and will be buried next to his daughter, Linda Ann McKay McLeod. Being a 5th generation Mobilian, he was preceded in death by his son, Michael Andrew McKay. Survivors included his wife, Jeanne S. McKay, daughter, Linda Ann McKay McLeod; sisters, Ann, Margie and Shirley; one brother, Robert McKay; other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, March 29, 2019 at 10:00 AM from Holy Family Catholic Church. The family will receive friends at the church from 9:00 AM until service time. Inurnment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
