James Parnell

James "Jimmy" Otis Parnell, 81, passed away on February 23, 2024. Jimmy was born on January 2, 1943 to Joe Parnell and Nena Hosford.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents, Joe Earl Parnell and Nena Hosford Parnell; sister, Earlene McGehee; brothers, Joe Parnell, Jr. and Jack (Laverne) Parnell; son, Earl Parnell; brother-in-law, Stan Schult; wives, Mavis Parnell and Pauline Parnell.

Jimmy is survived by his sister, Nena Schult; brothers, Elmer Pete Parnell (Kaye), Emmett "Punk" Parnell (Judy); sister-in-law, Gertie Parnell; several nieces and nephews and cousins.

To honor Jimmy's life, a funeral service will be held on Tuesday February 27, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. His family will receive friends one hour prior.
