JAMES "Jimmy" CLARENCE SCHREINER, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL, died Sunday, May 14, 2017 at the age of 80. He went to work as a baker at Sun Beam at the age of 18 and retired from Smith's Bakery after over 40 years of service. Jimmy was an avid Alabama football fan; enjoyed country and gospel music, fishing and spending quality time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Clarence and Ruby May Schreiner; five brothers, William Charles, Leon George, Jack H., Gerald and George Schreiner; three sisters, Betty Christine Bonner, Faith Jean Stewart and Geraldine Ann Peacock. His survivors include three sisters, Dorothy Louise Neese, Grace Catherine Cross and Ruby May Huddleston; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. Funeral services, officiated by Dr. Randall E. Ingram, will be held Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 12:00 Noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
