Jane Formanek

Jane Gaye Moss Harris Formanek of Mobile, AL passed away March 29, 2024 at the age of 80.

Gaye was a radiology technician who specialized in Computed Tomography (CT). She worked at the University of South Alabama Medical Center for 35 years. She had a passion for dancing and won many state and regional awards with the Fred Astaire Dance Studio. She loved Mardi Gras & was a member of La Luna Servante' and Order of Athena. In La Luna she was the President in 2005 Cathedral & the Emblem in 2011. She was a long time member of Christ Church Cathedral. She loved her family who will greatly miss her fun-loving nature. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ Church Cathedral.

She preceded in death by Walter William Moss (Father) and Gladys Campbell Moss (Mother); Richard Price Harris, Sr. (Husband passed in 1983); James Formanek (Husband passed 2008).

She is survived by her sons Richard Price Harris (Shannon); William Phillip Harris; sister Virginia Moss Behlen; nieces Campbell Behlen Sindle (Hawk) & Hamilton Behlen Walter.
