Jane Meeker Broadhead

Jane Iris Meeker Broadhead, lifelong resident of Mobile, AL, was called home by her loving Lord on September 14, 2024. She was 78 years old. Mrs. Broadhead was a good and faithful member of First Baptist Church of Tillmans Corner. Mrs. Broadhead retired from USA Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas Meeker and Alice Jones, her husband Carl Lamer Broadhead, and her son Thomas Odell Broadhead. She is survived by her two daughters Terri A. Raley of Mobile, AL and Jerri A. Drochak (Dave) of Wilmer, AL; her nine grandchildren, Jessica, Tonya, Scott Jr, Michelle, Darion, Samantha, Paige, Charles Jr, and Christian; her fifteen great grandchildren; her brother John E. Hall Sr. (Mo-Maureen) of Mobile, AL; and her brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many loving friends.

Mrs. Broadhead's family would like to thank Saad's Hospice and the Retreat Hospice Center for the care, respect, and dignity shown to Mrs. Broadhead and her family in her last days.

Mrs. Broadhead's funeral service will be held on September 20, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home at 6040 Three Notch Rd. Mobile, AL, with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Internment will follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery
