Jerry Wayne Brooks January 28, 1936- August 24, 2016 A native of Montgomery, AL and resident of Mobile, AL died on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at the age of 80. Mr. Brooks was a retired Banker. He loved softball and officiated football for 28 years. He also loved his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Brooks; two children, Tara (Jeff) Barton and Mark Brooks; six grandchildren, Josh (Stevie) Barton, Jonathan (Kristen) Barton, Blake Brooks, Jennifer Barton, Haleigh Brooks and Brett Brooks; two great grandchildren, Jackson Barton and Lucas Barton. Funeral services will be held from Luke 4:18 Fellowship on Monday August 29, 2016 at 11:00 AM with visitation beginning at 9:30 AM. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
