Jerry D. Cotton, Sr., a native of Ragland, AL and a longtime resident of Chickasaw, AL, died on Tuesday. Mr. Cotton retired with over 35 years of service with the Alabama Highway Department. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nora Chambless Cotton and father, Leonard B. Cotton and five brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife, Dewillia Cotton; one son, Dean (Missy) Cotton; two grandchildren, Evan Cotton and Kalyn Cotton; four sisters and brother, Margaret (John) Ward, Wanda (Bill) Massey, Linda (Duke) Dailey and James (Charlene) Cotton and other relatives. Funeral services will be held from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 12 noon. Visitation starts at 11 AM. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
