Jimmy Dale Dickerson

Jimmy Dale Dickerson, age 85, resident of Theodore, Al. Was born on August 28, 1940 in Philadelphia, Mississippi & passed May 31, 2026. Jimmy was a high school graduate of Alba High School where he played football & was offered a scholarship but decided to enlist in the Army to serve his country. After returning to citizen life, Jimmy became a welder for many years. He enjoyed fishing, creating a garden & spending time with family & friends. He loved his family very much & will be truly missed.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his mother, Viola Dickerson & his father, Donnie Dickerson. Brothers- Bobby, Luey, & O.D. Sisters-Irene, Jean, & Sue.

He is survived by his daughter Tonya Schuettner & husband Rick Schuettner, grandson Brandon Parks, Sisters; Annyce Browning (Jim Browning), Betty Brown (Wayne Brown), Kathy Wilbourne, & sister-in-law Mildred Dickerson. Along with many nieces, nephews & good friends.

Jimmy's funeral service will be held on June 5, 2026, at 10 AM at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service on June 5, 2026, from 9-10AM at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
