Jo Anne Austin Harrison, 76, passed beyond pain and suffering into the eternal presence of the Lord Sunday, December 9, 2018. Jo Anne was a member of Christ Fellowship Baptist Church; was a registered nurse; enjoyed golf; bowling and spending quality time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Dewitt Austin and Pearl Estelle Dyer Austin; four brothers, Walter Gene Austin, Charles B.J. Austin, Walter Dewitt Austin, Jr. and Bill R. Austin; and her sister, Louise Callie Bishop. Her survivors include her devoted husband of 58 years, Earl Harrison; two sons, Phillip (Rhonda) Harrison and Scott (Rena) Harrison; one daughter, Stephanie (Chad) Buckhalter; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Hannah) Vincent, Rachel Vincent, Austin Harrison, Samuel Harrison, Andrew Harrison, Grace Harrison, Anna Kay Harrison, Jacob Buckhalter and Evan Buckhalter; one great-grandchild, Marly Vincent; her brother, Ronald A. Austin; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 13, 2018 at 12:00 Noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday morning from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
