John Broome

June 6, 1937-October 28, 2019

John Cleveland Broome, a native of Augusta, GA and resident of Mobile, AL for the past 43 years, passed away Monday, October 28, 2019 at 4:30 AM surrounded by his loving family. He worked in flooring construction for over 50 years. He was an avid deer hunter and hunted often with his dear friends, John Wheeler, Joel Creel and Harry Baker. He had a great collection of trophy deer and loved to help others improve their hunting skills. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. His survivors include his wife of over 60 years, Judith Diane Broome; daughters, Lisa (Allen) Story and Lori (Mark) Burch; grandsons, Benjamin Story, III and Kevin Burch; other relatives and friends.
