John Jerry Roy, age 88, who was loved by family and friends, passed away on Monday in Mobile. Jerry retired from the Alabama State Docks Railway System in 1989 after 38 years of service. He was member of the Cottage Hill Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Harriet Roberta (Bobbie) Roy, Daughters, Sherry Martin (Jim Martin), Evlyn Roberta Pearson (Joe Pearson), Virginia Ellen Renka (Mike Renka) and SONS, John Eugene Roy, Jerry Quintus Roy (Jamelle Roy). He is also survived by grandchildren, Laura (Pearson) Balach, Martha Pearson, Page (Renka) Marmolejo, Jim Renka and Casey Renka. Step Grand Children Jennifer Renka, Isham Barret, Hilery Barret, JD Ellington, Cameo Ellington. In addition he is survived by cousins Nancy Seibt, Ann Perry, Peggy Wilkerson and Margret Taggert. Memorial Services will be 11:30am on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Cottage Hill Presbyterian Church. Lunch will follow the services in the Fellowship Hall. The family has asked that in lieu a memorial donation to Cottage Hill Presbyterian Church
