John Michael (Mike) Lincecum was born on January 11, 1948 in Alexandria, LA. He passed from this life on April 10, 2022 at the age of 73. He was the son of John B. and Evelyn R. Lincecum. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Honora Robertson Lincecum; one daughter Jodie Machelle Lincecum Duron; one son, Matthew Henry Lincecum, his wife Lacie J. Lincecum, and one granddaughter Honora Jeannine (Nora Jean) Lincecum. He is survived by his brother, Philip Lincecum (Dinah); his brother-in-law, H.F. (Bud) Robertson (Debi), and two sisters-in-law, Patsy Tanner and Linda Walker, plus numerous nieces and nephews.
Mike graduated from Biloxi High School and attended Mississippi State and the University of South Alabama before transferring to Auburn University where he graduated with a degree in Construction Management in 1971. He was well known in the Construction Industry in and around Mobile. He spent the last half of his career at Ogden Construction Company.
Mike was a charter member of the First Baptist Church of Irvington. His services will be officiated by Dr. Ron Griffin, the recently retired pastor of First Baptist of Irvington. Pallbearers include H.F. (Bud) Robertson, Jared Lincecum, Keith Mattern, Louis Walker, Keyser Impastato, and Malcolm Tanner with Douglas Robertson, David Robertson, David Buck, and Jerry Beaver serving as Honorary Pallbearers.
Mike loved the outdoors and was an avid camper and fisherman before his interests turned to hunting. He was a member of the G.W. Hunting Club in Grove Hill, AL. Mike developed an interest in travel in his fifties and vacationed in Alaska, Mexico, Spain, Italy, France, and Monaco.
A stroke left Mike disabled in 2012 and even with his limited mobility, he was the center of and well-loved patriarch of his family. He will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends.

The family wishes to extend our heartfelt appreciation to all of the doctors, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare providers who assisted Mike over the past decade.
Special thanks to Encompass Hospice for the last four months of excellent care provided for Mike in his final days.
