John "Rusty" Logan

John Russell "Rusty" Logan passed away in the comfort of his home on November 26, 2024 at the age of 78.

He served his country honorably in the United States Navy. He was a proud member of American Legion Post 153 in Eight Mile and had many friends at Post 88. He enjoyed reading, traveling and anything Alabama football - ROLL TIDE!

Rusty was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Mildred Logan, brothers Don, Paul and Billy Ray.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 35 years, Sharon Logan; daughters, Rusti Raeshell (Wayne) Castanos and Allison Nicole (Jr) Grimes; stepchildren, Sheri (Billy) Johnson and William "Billy" Thompson; 8 Grandchildren, 2 great Grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.

Services will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 with visitation from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. service time. Internment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
