John Sims Jr

John Benjamin "Bo" Sims Jr., aged 72, passed away on July 1, 2024, in Mobile, Alabama. Born on December 27, 1951, in Delhi, Louisiana

Bo is survived by his children, John Benjamin Sims III (Garrell Murdock), Melanie Ann Sims, and Amy Sims Taylor (Rusty Taylor); his siblings, Winfield Scott Hancock Sims, Cheryl Sims, Sheila Kistler, and Michelle Sims Payne; his grandchildren, Christopher Dwayne Lisenba Jr., Hannah Victoria Lisenba, Skyler Bailey Sims, and Jayden Allen Sims; and his great-grandchildren, Camden Lisenba, Carter Lisenba, Madeline Graham, Oliver Graham, and a baby boy on the way. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dian Worley Sims; his parents, John Benjamin Sims Sr. and Cherry Mae Sims; and his brother, Micheal Eugene Sims.

A service to honor and celebrate Bo's life will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens in Mobile, Alabama, on July 8th, 2024, at 2:00pm. Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is assisting the family during this time. Bo's presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on through the love and stories shared by those who knew him.
