John Stevens passed away unexpectedly on September 8, 2022 at the age of 32 in his home.
John is survived by his wife, Rebecca Vaughan; his parents, William Stevens and Margaret Tuten; his grandfather Michael Maze and Mary Ann Maze; and his brother, Christopher Stevens.
John was born in Jasper, Florida on January 9, 1990 to William Stevens and Margaret Tuten. John served honorably in the United States Navy from 2008 to 2012 in the Ordinance branch and worked more recently as a maintenance technician. On April 26, 2019, he married his devoted wife Rebecca.
John never met anyone he did not instantly strike a connection with and was often found making friends in any brief interaction. He had a soft spot for any animal in need and loved his pets.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2 P.M. September 15th at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home 6040 Three Notch Rd. Mobile, AL. (Rev./Pastor/Minister) will officiate.
