Joseph Azzem, Jr., a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL, died Monday, May 6, 2019 at the age of 93. Joe was a WWII Air Force Veteran; retired as Purchasing Agent for Delchamps after 50 years of service; and enjoyed quality time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Christine Azzem; his daughter, Shirley Ann Azzem; and his parents, Joseph Azzem, Sr. and Decie Perdue Azzem. His survivors include his daughter, Alisa Marie (Lee) Teague; his son, Joseph Larry (Brenda) Azzem; three grandchildren, Robert (Cindy) Sealy, Andrea (Terry) Neese and Jason (Nina) Azzem; eight great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Funeral services, officiated by Pastor Charles Edward Boutwell, will be held Thursday, May 9, 2019 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:00 Noon until service time. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be offered at www.mobilememorialfunerals.com.
