Joseph Matthew Hanna, Sr., age 73 of Mobile, AL, passed away on Monday, in Mobile. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 2, 2015 at 12 noon in Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Navy Military honors. Visitation will start at 10 AM. Friday.
Mr. Hanna was born in Richwood W. VA to Fay W. and Elizabeth G. Hanna. He retired after 22 years with the Navy. He was a loving father, grandfather and friend. He never met a stranger and never passed up an opportunity to share the blessings God gave him. His survivors include his wife, Jeanne Hanna his children, Joseph M. Hanna, Jr. Jane of Baton Rouge, Marty Hanna Marilyn of Memphis, Maria H. Moore Russell of Nashville exwife, Betty Hanna of Biloxi, 12 grandchildren stepchildren, Ben Marx Andrea of Santa Rosa.
