Joseph Miller

Joseph Lee Miller, a native of Minden, LA and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, died Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at the age of 78. He was a US Air Force veteran; a member of First Baptist Tillman's Corner and retired as Vice-President of Regions Bank after over 35 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thurman Jefferson Miller, Sr. and Grace Lee Poland Miller; his brother, Thurman Jefferson "TJ" Miller, Jr. and a grandson, Ryan Zafiris. His survivors include his wife of 54 years, Shelby Jean Mann Miller; his daughter, Kelly Miller (Adam) Gusmus; his son, Joseph Brent (Lisa) Miller; 4 grandchildren, Matthew and William Miller; Mallory Zafiris (Joey) and Wesley Gusmus; three great-grandchildren, Emilee Lawler, Harper and Cannon Martin; two sisters, Peggy Ann Miller Monzingo and Virginia Nell Miller Faciane; other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Monday, April 23, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Funeral services, officiated by Rev. Greg Pouncey, will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 24, 2018 from First Baptist Tillman's Corner. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
