Joseph Talley

Joe passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 16, 2021, in the coronary care unit of Mobile Infirmary, with his wife of 25 years, Janet Gail, by his side. Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

He was born in Columbus, Georgia to now deceased parents, Dan and Mary Ann Talley. Joe has lived in Mobile since 8 years of age. He graduated from Murphy High School.
Joe had numerous jobs in Mobile but eventually settled in with Walmart where he retired after 20 years of service.

Joe is survived by his wife, Janet Gail Talley; his 2 children from his first marriage, Kenneth Talley and Kimberly (Joey) Davenport; grandchildren, JJ, Michael, Lester, Annabella and Amber Davenport; step-sons, Alan and Dan Coulter. Joe is also survived by 4 siblings, Lisa (Cliff) Lockett, Dan (Patti) Talley, Bebe (Billy) Francis, and Jesse (Debbie) Talley; nephews, Scott Willis and Marc Willis; and nieces, Danielle Talley, Taylor Rose Talley, Jennifer McMichael, and Melissa (Troy) Armand.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Pine Crest Cemetery, 1939 Dauphin Island Parkway Mobile, AL 36605.

Pallbearers will be Cliff Lockett, Jesse Talley, Billy Francis, Thom Brown, Scott Willis and Allen Coulter.
