It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joseph Edward "Guido" Wade, Sr., who left us on June 13, 2026, at the age of 70. Joseph was born on March 25, 1956, and was a long-time resident of Tillmans Corner, Alabama. Joe retired from Brown & Root where he was known for his hard work and dedication in the janitorial services division. Joe was a prankster and loved joking with his coworkers and friends. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and watching football. He was an avid Oakland/Las Vegas Raiders fan.

Joe was preceded in death by his father, A.J. Wade; mother, Nora E. Bowen; son, Chad Wade; and brother, Kenneth Wade.

He loved his family deeply, and he leaves behind his beloved wife, Sherry Wade, who will forever cherish the memories they shared. He is also survived by his sons, Joseph Edward Wade, Jr. and T.J. Wade; grandchildren, Reanna Wade and Ella Kate Wade; siblings, Teresa Trehern, Andy Joel Wade, Delbert "Dale" Wade, Terry Bowen and Tammy Philips; and his fur "babies", Snoopy, Texas, Fineagan, Martin and Curly.

We invite family and friends to join us to celebrate Joe's life and reflect on the joy he brought into our lives at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home from 2pm until 4pm on Monday, June 22, 2026.

Joe will be remembered for his kind heart, strong will and unwavering spirit. He will be greatly missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. Joe lived his life to the fullest and "He Did It His Way".
