Josephine Illsley Dempsey 1932 - 2018

Bill Dempsey would enjoy having family and friends join him, his daughter Lorraine Kennedy, granddaughter McKinley and husband Dustin Aragon, son Robert Dempsey and wife Karen of Seattle, WA to celebrate life of his English-born wife, partner and best friend of 67 years. Josephine Illsley Dempsey left this life peacefully on the evening of February 25, 2018. She was 85 years young. The mother of three, Lorraine Louise, Robert Keven and the late Stephen John, Jo always enjoyed the frequent moves, travels and friendships made at every duty station over 20 years of Army life. Her Celebration of Life will be held at their home, 11304 Howells Ferry Road in Semmes, between the hours of 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM on Saturday, March 24, 2018. There will be a buffet with beverages. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children Processing Center, P.O. Box 1510, Ranson, WV 25438-4510
