Josephine Joanne Anne Poston Haidt, a native of Shelby, NC and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, died Tuesday, October 28, 2014. She was a beloved mother and grandmother. In her earlier years, she was an avid golfer and was a Past President of the Alabama Womens Golf Association. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick H. Haidt, Jr. and her parents, William Atkin Poston and Ruth Josephine Bost Poston. She is survived by her four children, Pemela Haidt Will Lee, Stephen M. Linda Haidt, Jeffrey S. Haidt and Frederick H. Toni Haidt, III three grandchildren, Matthew Haidt, Daniel Haidt and Madeline Haidt her brother, Michael Poston nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Thursday, October 30, 2014 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Graveside services will immediately follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made in Mrs. Haidts name to the American Heart Association. Condolences may be offered at www.mobilememorialfunerals.com.
