Joyce Coxwell passed away at her home in Mobile on December 30th, 2022. Joyce lived a wonderful life full of adventures along side her husband of 75 years, Fred Coxwell. Fred and Joyce married as teenagers and have since lived in many states including South Carolina, Columbia, Georgia, Indiana, and Wisconsin. Once retired, they moved to Gulf Shores, Alabama and owned one of the biggest gas stations at the beach. They then moved back to Mobile and traveled in their motor home for the next 20 years. Joyce was a member of Woodridge Baptist Church for many years. Joyce joined her daughter, Glenda in Heaven as well as her brothers Homer, Bill, Earnest and Jimmy. She is survived by her loving husband, Fred, her son Freddie Coxwell, Daughter in Law, Carolyn, Sister Jean Johnson ,grandchildren Raven and Amy and great grandchild Avery along with many other family members and friends. Joyce was an outstanding woman who will be missed dearly.
Visitation will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 1:00 P.M.. until 2:00 P.M.
Funeral Services will be held at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Owassa, Alabama at 11 o'clock A.M. on Friday January 6th, 2023."
