Kathrin Grice

Kathrin "Kathy" McKendree Grice, 63, passed away October 27, 2015 in Mobile, Al. Visitation will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens on October 30, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Reverend Doug Baker will be officiating the service at 12:00 in the Mobile Memorial Gardens chapel.
Kathy was born in Opelika, Alabama to Pete and Myra McKendree on January 3, 1952. She attended Opelika High School and graduated in 1970. She was married to Chuck Furlow of Auburn, Alabama followed by Jody Grice of Irvington, AL. She worked as the Assistant Vice President of BB & T Insurance Services. Kathy was a devoted fan of Auburn University. She also enjoyed reading, gardening, shopping, cooking for her family and watching football. She is preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Myra McKendree; two brothers, Ricky McKendree and Donnie McKendree.
Kathy is survived by her sister, Debbie Mathis of Mobile, Al; brother Ronnie (Susan) McKendree of Gardendale, Al; daughters Stephanie (Johnny) Dunn of Theodore, Al, Kelly McNeil of Mobile, Al and Hailee (Jeremy) Butts of Irvington, Al ; Son in law, Chris McNeil; Eight grandchildren, Mallory (Joshua) Pyeatt, Huntley (Carly) Wilson, Nicholas McNeil, Emma Dunn, Savannah McNeil, Mackenzie Dunn, Bailey Butts, Madison Butts and her beloved dog, Nova.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the amazing nurses on the tenth floor and medical ICU of Providence Hospital for their support and compassion for Kathy in her final days.
