Katie Bernice Farley Coulson, a native of Dayton, TN and longtime resident of Theodore, AL, died Thursday, March 10, 2016 at the age of 56. Katie was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Carl Farley and Ruth Maxine Daniels Burnett; and her daughter, Summer Nichole Long; her survivors include her husband, Charles DeChilton Coulson; three daughters, Stephany (Gary) Henry, Jessica (Alex) Frye and Jennifer (Chase) Coakley; two sons, Jason (Amanda) Tarver and James Jackson "JJ" (Brittany) Long; five sisters, Sherry (Curtis) Ezell, Emogene "Jennie" Smith, Nelson Fay "Tiny" (Bill) Lightsey, Mary Rowe "Tootsie" Burke and Johnnie (Danny) Ezell; one brother, Carl Marvin (Kimmie)) Farley; eight grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Funeral services, officiated by Rev. Bob Barr, will be held Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
