Keith Bumpers

Keith Duane Bumpers, a lifelong resident of Mobile, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at the age of 50.
Keith was a graduate of Baker High School where he pitched for the State Championship baseball team his senior year, 1990, and continued his baseball career on scholarship with Faulkner State Community College. In 1996, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of South Alabama and became a licensed Professional Engineer in 1997. Keith had a successful and accomplished career as a civil and structural engineer throughout Alabama and Mississippi where he served as the vice president of several engineering firms as well as establishing his own firm, Bumpers Engineering. Keith developed a love for bass fishing at a young age which was only rivaled by the sincere love he had for his family.
Keith is survived by his two sons, Zachary Aaron Bumpers and Bradley Keith Bumpers; his parents, Daniel and Bobbie Bumpers; sisters, Khristie Stewart (Mark) and Lisa Deen (Jeff); nephews, Dillan Stewart, Spencer Stewart, and Maddox Deen; niece, Madeline Deen, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and many close friends. A memorial service will take place Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Mobile Memorial Gardens with visitation at 11:00 am and a service to follow at 12:00 pm.
