Kenneth Darrell Zirlott

Kenneth Darrell Zirlott (Kenny), 71, passed away November 18,2023, at Mobile Infirmary Hospital.

Born September 15,1952, in Mobile Alabama to Nathaniel and Juanita (Barnes) Zirlott.

Kenny met the love of his life, Wanda, in 1970 at an Alba High School football game

and were united in holy matrimony in 1972. Celebrating 51 years together and creating a family of 6 that blossomed into 19.

Kenny was a well-known and respected Shrimp boat captain for 55 years.

Affectionally referred to as Papa Kenny by his grandchildren, he was also known by many friends and family as Capt. Ken and KeyWest Kenny.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

He loved working on the water, his morning coffee, spending time outside working in his yard, keeping his truck spotless, speaking his mind (unless he was talking to his wife), and spending time with his family and friends.

Kenny was proceeded in death by his parents Nathaniel and Catherin (Barnes) Zirlott,

Father in-laws Robert E. Zirlott, O. Lavern Gray, Mother in-law Laurice J. Gray, Brother Gene Everette Zirlott, Brother in-law Victor G. Zirlott, Son in-law William K. (Bisquit) Ladnier, Nephews Andrew Peek, Richard Zirlott, Neice Jessica (Zirlott) Rhodes, and Great Nephews Matthew Zirlott, and Quinton Zirlott.
