Larry Thomas Hunt

November 15, 1943 — March 22, 2023

Larry Thomas Hunt was born on November 15, 1943, in Mobile, Alabama to the late Hilry and Overy Hunt. A devoted husband, grandfather, and great-grandfather, he was called home to rest on March 22, 2023, at the age of 79.

Larry met and fell in love with his wife Deloris in Prichard, Alabama. They married on October 1, 1971, and settled in Toulminville, Alabama. Their marriage was full of warmth, laughter, and adventure. They enjoyed traveling throughout North America, visiting various cities in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Larry served as a mechanist and quality improvement specialist for 23 years at Teledyne, Inc (now Teledyne Technologies). His work included overseeing quality control of parts that would go on to be used as part of the Voyager space probes. During his career at Teladyne, Larry also received awards for his foresight and proactiveness.

He was preceded in death by his siblings: Hilry Hunt Jr., Matthew Hunt, and Doris Hunt; and nephew Harold Hunt.

Larry leaves to celebrate his life and cherish his memory a loving wife, Deloris S. Hunt; brother Eugene Hunt; son Victor C. (Marissa) Hunt Sr; step-daughter Vangie M.
