Lawrence "Rass" Lockhart

Lawrence Winston Lockhart, age 95 passed away Friday, July 22, 2022. He was know to all as "Rass".
Rass served in the US Navy in WWII aboard the USS PC 1177. Rass was a graduate of Alabama Polytechnic Institute (Auburn University) with a degree in Entomology. He worked for the Department of Agriculture until he retired. He was a member of Luke 4:18 Fellowship.
He was preceded in death by his parents James Lockhart and Martha Lockhart, his wife of 64 years Kathleen Y. Lockhart, and his daughter Shelia Lockhart.
He is survived by his son, Randy (Karen) Lockhart, 3 grandchildren, Morgan Lockhart, MacKenzie Lockhart and Mason Lockhart.
Visitation will be at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 from 11:00 am until the 12:00 pm service. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Luke 4:18 Fellowship.
