Lenwood Leroy Seaman, a longtime commercial fisherman, was born December 4th, 1948, departed this life for his heavenly home on November 20th, 2025. Lenwood was a hard-working man who loved his family and Alabama football. His faith led him to serve Jesus as his lord and savior. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew him.
He is proceeded in death by; his mother, Ola Ruth Seaman; his father, Hubbard Lee Seaman; his brothers, Royal, Gary, Arnold, Elton, Charles, Timothy, and Kim.
Lenwood is survived by; his loving wife of 35 years, Dorothy (Dottie) Seaman; his children, Lenwood Jr., Kimberly (Chuck), Brenda, Jerrie, and Roy; his grandchildren, Victoria (Bradley), David Jr., Julieanna, Grover, and Michael; His great-grandchildren, Henry, Eloise, Peter, Silas, and Cecilia; his brothers, Lonnie and Mark; his good friends, Mike Byrd, and Nelo Bour; his nurse, Lisa Tillman; and a host of nieces and nephews and friends.
Lenwood's funeral service will be held at 10 A.M., on Wednesday, November 26th, 2025; at First Baptist Church of Bayou La Batre. Burial will follow at Oddfellows Cemetery. The visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:30 A.M. to 10 A.M., on Wednesday, November 26th, 2025; at First Baptist Church of Bayou La Batre.
Pallbearers: David Gillet Jr., Ray Harbinson, Alden Seaman, Mark Seaman Jr., Cy Seaman Jr., and Bradley Hankins.
Honorary Pallbearers: Michael Godwin, Woody Seaman, Joey Bosarge, Thurman Seaman, and Karl Seaman.
The family welcomes those who will attend the funeral service to wear Alabama gear.
