Leon George Souby Jr.

Leon G. Souby Jr., age 78, of Mobile, AL, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2026, at The Retreat, Hospice by Saad.

Born on August 10, 1947, in New Orleans, LA, Leon was the son of the late Leon and Lillian (Pichoff) Souby. On February 11, 1967, he married the love of his life, Gloria Wall, in Normal, IL. Together, they shared 59 years of marriage built on devotion and family.

Leon was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Leona Smith.

His memory will be cherished by his beloved wife, Gloria Souby of Mobile, AL; his daughter, Dawn (Greg) Youngs; and his two grandchildren, Connor and Morgan Youngs, all of San Antonio, TX. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
