Linda Ruth Horton Bennett

Ms. Linda Bennett, a 72-year old native and resident of Mobile, AL, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 10, 2018. Linda was a loving, devoted mother and a one of a kind grandmother (Meme). She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy B. and Ruth B. Horton; sister, Virginia Hill Baker; brother, H. T.
Johnson; and her cat, Angel. Ms. Bennett is survived by her daughters, Paula (Steve) Medveal; Sherri (Doug) Guernsey; brother, Burch (Jackie) Johnson; grandsons, Caleb, Noah, and Jonah Guernsey; niece, Tonya Spence; great-niece, Hannah Spence and great-nephew, Colton Spence. In lieu of flowers, her family asks that a donation be made to the Alabama Kidney Foundation in her honor.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 14, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be at Mobile Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be offered at www.mobilefuneralservice.com.
