Linda Harris

Linda Faye Clark Harris, 74, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2024. She was born December 16, 1949, in Red Level, Alabama to Homer Grady Clark and Beulah Mae Mitchell Smith. After Mr. Clark's passing, Faye was raised by Beulah and Joseph Smith in Chickasaw, Alabama. She graduated from Vigor High School where she met her husband of 54 years, Walter Earl Harris. She was a loving wife, caring mother, and a proud grandmother. She was a talented Home Interior designer and homemaker. She loved cooking, decorating and spending time with her friends and family. Faye, Walter, and their family also loved vacationing in Gulf Shores every summer. After living in Theodore for 35 years, Walter and Faye moved to Greer, South Carolina in 2022 to be near their youngest son, Blake, and his family. They had just built a new home in March, and Faye was blessed to be able to spend a few months decorating and enjoying a new place of their own.

Faye is preceded in death by her mother, Beulah Mae Mitchell Smith; her father, Homer Grady Clark; and stepfather, Joseph Smith. She leaves behind her husband, Walter Earl Harris; three sons, Brent (Destiny) Harris of Mobile, AL, Shaun (Lori) Harris of Chelsea, AL, and Blake (Erin) Harris of Greer, SC; grandchildren, Brandon Harris, Whitney Harris, Brad Harris, Avery Harris, Drew Harris, Cooper Harris, Mason Harris, Benjamin Harris and Alaina Reynolds; brother, David Smith; three sisters, Ann (Robert) Nicholas, Diane (Clay) Pike, and Debbie Pruitt; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm at the Mobile Memorial Gardens FH in Mobile, Alabama, on Saturday, August 10, 2024.

Visitation will be held at 11:00am, services proceeding 12:00 pm.

Interment will be held in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
