Lou Ann Smith Loper, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL passed away Thursday, October 2, 2014. Mrs. Loper was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Harold Smith her parents, Fred Watts Davis and Myrtle Sasser Davis. She is survived by her daughter, Chalet Smith, of Mobile, AL her sons, Charles Shane Charlotte Smith of Atlanta, Ga, and Eric Sloan Jeanne Smith of St. Louis, MO her brother, Darwell Fred Glenda Davis of Atlanta, GA six grandchildren, Blakley Rials, Davis Smith, Addie Smith, Abigail Smith, Emily Fears and Madison Fears nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 12 Noon until 2:00 PM. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be offered at
