Magdalene Mae McClure

Magdalene "Mae" McClure, age 89, of Mobile, AL, passed away on May 2, 2026.

She was born on May 17, 1936 in Chicago, IL to Richard and Magdalene Dievenkorn.

Mae was known for her membership in the Order of the Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile, and the Social Order of Beauceant. She loved her grandchildren, great grands, Masonic organizations and dogs.

She is survived by her children, Richard McClure (Theresa) and Deborah McClure; grandchildren, Kenneth Hughes (Mary), Briana Rivera, Maria Gates (Chase) and 7 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John McClure and daughter, Kathryn Hughes.

Arrangements for a memorial service in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery will be announced.
