Margret Ellison

Margret "Meme" Ellison, 78, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2025. A devoted prayer warrior and passionate follower of Jesus, Margret lived a life rooted deeply in faith, compassion, and love for others.

Born in Offenbach, Germany, on October 31, 1947, to Monroe Wilson and Elli Elfriede Wilson, Margret later made her home in Alabama, where she spent most of her life surrounded by her cherished family and lifelong friends. In 2017, she moved to Arkansas to live with her daughter and son‑in‑law, a transition that brought her great joy and allowed her to be closely involved in the daily lives of those she loved most.

She was preceded in death by her father, Monroe Wilson; her mother, Elli Livings; her stepfather, Jullian H. Livings; and her brother, Kenneth O'Neal Wilson.

Margret was a 16‑year breast cancer survivor, a testament to her strength, perseverance, and unwavering faith. She poured her heart into serving others, whether through prayer, encouragement, or the beautiful wreaths and floral arrangements she crafted with care. One of her greatest joys in life was spending time with her great‑grandchildren, whose laughter and presence brought her endless delight.

Margret is survived by her daughter, Shea Dolan (Ben); her granddaughters Brooke Beam (Tyler) and Kennedy Terry (Charles); and her great‑granddaughters Elle and Grace Beam. She is also survived by her devoted brothers Alvin Wilson (Lenora), Glenn Wilson (Rose), Ronnie Wilson (Janet) and sister-in-law Sherrilyn Wilson, along with many beloved nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on January 17, 2026, in Mobile, Alabama, at Memorial Gardens. A visitation will take place from 9:00-10:00 AM, followed by a memorial service from 10:00-11:00 AM. Family and friends are invited to attend and honor Margret's remarkable life and legacy.
