Mrs. Marie L. Philen, a native of Millry, AL and a longtime resident of Whistler, AL died at home on Monday, August 3, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Vernon Philen. She is survived by Jean her daughter and Earnie (Jan) Philen; two grandchildren, Caleb and Shian; one brother, Dale Long and one sister, Bernice Evans and other relatives. Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 7, 2020 at 2pm in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
