Marilyn Auzine Hyde was called to eternal rest on February 18, 2026. She was born on January 12, 1936, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Marilyn was the beloved wife of the late Ralph Ely Hyde and a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her daughters: Rhonda Hyde Zeller and Sherri Hyde; her grandchildren: Nicholas H. Zeller (Elisabeth), Stephanie Zeller Broussard (Dustin), and Christie M. Zeller; her great-grandson, Trent J. Zeller; her sister, Diane Wilbert; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was born to Andrew Auzine and Josephine Cusimano Auzine. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Roy Auzine; her son-in-law, Lloyd J. Zeller; and her loving and devoted husband, Ralph E. Hyde.
Marilyn was deeply devoted to her family and had a life-long love of music. As a young woman, she competed in and won classical singing competitions in New Orleans. She worked as a substitute teacher and generously volunteered at local hospitals, touching many lives through her kindness and service.
A committal service will be held on Monday, February 23, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spanish Fort, Alabama.
