Marjorie Ann Brown Wehner, 92, passed away Saturday, January 29, 2022 after a brief illness.
Born in Middletown, NY May 29, 1929 to Raymond E. and Francis A. Brown, she was a graduate of Middletown High School and held a degree in Early Childhood Education from Arcadia University, then known as Beaver College, in Glenside, PA. In 1950 Marjorie married Donald Clifford Wehner of Slate Hill, NY and with him moved to Mobile in 1970 and became joyfully active at Westminster Presbyterian Church, and active with PEO Sisterhood (Philanthropic Education Organization).
After celebrating 65 years of marriage Mrs. Wehner was preceded in death by her late husband Donald and is survived by her three sons, Steven (Pam Maxwell), Peter, and William, (Rhonda Dunn); Ten Grandchildren: Matthew, Colin (Dao Pham), Rachel, Elliot (Kristin Creal), Sarah, Evan, Emily, Caitlin (Brad Bootz), Alex (Jacque Silver), and Christian. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren: Jacob, Hanley, Cohen, Tyler, Avery, Holly, and Natalie.
Visitation will be at Mobile Memorial Gardens Friday, February 4, 2022 at 11:00am followed immediately by a graveside service. In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Wehner asked that any gifts be made to Cottey College W. Austin Blvd Nevada, MO. 64772 or online at Cottey.edu and designated to the Cottey Fund in memory of Marge Wehner, Chapter C Alabama.
