Marlene B. Boyd

1936-2026

a resident of Mobile AL, was called home after a protracted illness on July 10, 2026.

She had a long career with the Civil Service for the United States Air Force and United States Marines. Mrs. Boyd was an award-winning quilter, a craft she mastered in her lifetime with love and precision. She was also a wonderful caretaker to her husband in the last few years of his life, as well as to her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Henry Boyd. She is survived by her daughters, Sharon (Eric) Olson and Toni Ramey; six grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at 9:00 AM from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Monday, July 20, 2026, followed by Funeral service at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in Alabama State Veterans Cemetery, Spanish Fort, AL.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the donors' favorite charity.
