Mary Alice Dye

Mary Alice Dye, age 81, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. She was preceded in death by her mother Effie Lucile Pennington and father, John Howard Brooks, son, Ben Mader, 2 brothers, Ervin Brooks and James Brooks.

She is survived by her children, Ronald Mader, Donald Mader (Anna), Lana Young (Frederick), grandchildren Hannah Smith, Wesley Mader, Raegan Young, Cayden Mader and Noah Young , 2 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Ann Dungan, Amber Hawkins, brother, Jerry Brooks, other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held on Monday, April 13, 2026 at 10am in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
