Mary Grosz

Mary Brownlee Grosz, age 69, a life long resident of Mobile, AL passed away at her residence on Saturday April 30, 2022 in the company of her family. She was born on August 15, 1952 and a graduate of Davidson High School.

She acquired numerous family pets throughout the years and loved them unconditionally. She always put others before herself and loved to cheer on the Alabama football team. She held several positions at Westside ballpark while watching her boys play baseball.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Scott Grosz of Mobile; father, Homer Brownlee Sr.; and brother, Mike Brownlee.

She is survived by her sons; Gavin Grosz (Lindsey), Colby Grosz (Meg), and Jarred Grosz; mother, Alma Brownlee; brother, Homer Clifton Brownlee Jr. (Luwana); sisters, Brenda Thornton (Dennis), and Diane Perkins (Ken). She also leaves four grandchildren; Carson, Kyleigh, Wyatt, and Baylor Grosz; along with a host of friends and loved ones. The family asks that you donate to a cancer foundation in lieu of flowers.

Visitation will be at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Friday, May 13, 2022 from 9:00 am until the graveside service at 10:00 am in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
