Heaven has another choice spirit as Mary Elizabeth Dearman Lambert, age 85, passed away at home on August 23, 2015 after a long illness. She was born in Hattiesburg, MS on May 19, 1930 and was a resident of the Mobile, AL area for the past 80 years. Mrs. Lambert was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Amanda Dearman; two brothers, Harry and Johnny Dearman; sisters, Agatha Hurd, Nona Ruth Quist and Martha Reeves; grandson, Nicholas Betbeze and great-grandson, Taylor Turner. Surviving Mrs. Lambert are her sons, Gary W. (Patricia) Lambert and David Lambert; daughters, Priscilla Kim (Robert) Cupp, Terry (James) Betbeze, Laurie (Barry) Turberville and Nancy (Brad) McDonald; Marcus A. Lambert; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 28, 2015 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday beginning at 12:00 Noon Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be offered at www.mobilememorialfunerals.com.
